Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac platforms.
- Assist in maintaining and updating local area networks (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system (ServiceNow/Zendesk).
- Conduct routine system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Greater New Orleans area.
