Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to ensure minimal downtime.
- Help Desk Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira).
- System Maintenance: Perform regular software updates, patch management, and security scans to maintain system integrity.
- Asset Management: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and inventory management of new hardware and software for incoming employees.
- Network Assistance: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues under the guidance of senior network engineers.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions to educate staff on new software tools and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification required. High school diploma with relevant technical coursework is acceptable.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a strong plus (we will assist with certification costs for the right candidate).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, and networking concepts.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Attitude: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
