Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for hardware, software, and network issues.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- User Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary access and tools to be productive.
- Security Compliance: Help enforce IT security policies and ensure all devices are compliant with company standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support tickets, system changes, and technical issues in our Knowledge Base.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus (but not required for this entry-level role).
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose basic technical issues and find logical solutions.
- Availability: Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX.
