Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Manage IT inventory and assist in the ordering of necessary supplies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement system updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows and Mac).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear, friendly manner.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Kansas City metro area.
