Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Provide first-level technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems efficiently.
- Network Maintenance: Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Hardware & Software Deployment: Support the installation, configuration, and updating of operating systems, applications, and peripherals across the organization.
- User Support & Training: Create documentation and provide guidance to staff on software usage and basic troubleshooting steps.
- System Monitoring: Perform routine checks on servers and systems to ensure data integrity and security compliance.
- Asset Management: Assist in the tracking and inventory of IT equipment and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to resolving issues.
- Soft Skills: A high level of curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
