Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Onboarding: Prepare new hire packets, coordinate orientation sessions, and ensure a seamless integration for new employees.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files in our HRIS system (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with inquiries regarding health benefits, payroll, and time-off requests.
- Compliance: Help ensure the company adheres to federal and state labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of company events, wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional HR experience required; internship experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
