Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and providing a warm welcome to new team members.
- Employee Records: Maintain and update employee personnel files and records in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Payroll Support: Assist the payroll team with data collection, timekeeping verification, and processing adjustments.
- Benefits Administration: Support employees with questions regarding health insurance, 401(k) plans, and other company benefits.
- HR Operations: Coordinate company-wide events, wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Communication: Act as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries via email and phone, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with employment laws and company policies, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in administrative roles is considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
- Interpersonal: Ability to build rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
