Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, setting up payroll, and conducting orientation sessions.
- HRIS Management: Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS system (Workday), ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits enrollment, answer questions regarding health plans and retirement savings, and process enrollment changes during open enrollment.
- HR Operations Support: Schedule interviews, coordinate background checks, and assist with the preparation of compliance documentation and policy updates.
- Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries via email and phone, maintaining a professional and welcoming tone.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing company-wide events, employee recognition programs, and wellness activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Associate degree with equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail when managing data and documentation.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, including FLSA and WC insurance requirements.
