Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job advertisements on various platforms and screen incoming resumes to identify top talent.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage the interview process by coordinating calendars, sending reminders, and preparing interview packets.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork is completed and new employees feel welcomed.
- Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data compliance.
- Event Coordination: Help organize HR events, team building activities, and recruitment fairs within the Long Beach area.
- Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for candidate inquiries and employee HR-related questions.
- Research & Reporting: Assist in market research and generate basic recruitment reports to track hiring metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; we are looking for entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Long Beach, CA.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
