Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping ethical AI frameworks for 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech trends (metaverse, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Design sustainability protocols for next-gen data centers and edge computing infrastructure
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement futuristic digital transformation strategies
- Present strategic visions at global tech summits and publish industry thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of delivering tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, evolving 2026 standards)
- Published author in tech futurism or peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi methods) and predictive analytics
- Experience with agile development in distributed teams across 3+ time zones
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 large-scale tech transformation projects
