Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Monitor and respond to incoming support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical problems.
- Conduct regular IT health checks and software updates to ensure system security and performance.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk database.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, setting up their workstations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
