Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain IT asset management systems to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing critical issues first.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to troubleshoot network connectivity and system performance problems.
- Perform routine system backups, security patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Document technical solutions and maintain accurate service logs for team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or currently pursuing).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Bay Area.
