Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems, printers, and network devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory
- Document all support tickets and maintenance activities in IT service management systems
- Assist with software deployments, patch management, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on network security initiatives and infrastructure projects
- Conduct routine equipment audits and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or internship
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral setup
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent training preferred
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
