Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal connectivity and security protocols are followed.
- Manage and prioritize IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring all user requests are logged and resolved within SLA standards.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to conduct system updates, software installations, and hardware upgrades.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ within 12 months.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a desire to learn new technologies.
