Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage and track incoming IT helpdesk tickets using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure seamless business operations.
- Install, configure, and update security software and antivirus patches across all company devices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve internal processes and user experience.
- Conduct routine hardware inventory and asset management audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic Linux commands.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
- Eagerness to learn and obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within the first year.
