Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to incoming help desk tickets via phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with local area network (LAN) administration and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the company knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
- Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+ is a plus).
