Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and chat
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including Windows, macOS, and network devices
- Monitor system performance and document incident reports in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex issues and system upgrades
- Conduct periodic maintenance on servers, workstations, and network infrastructure
- Create and update technical documentation including SOPs and knowledge base articles
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (rotating schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- No prior IT experience necessary—training provided
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required (training included)
- Valid driver's license for occasional site visits
