Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and standard office productivity software.
- Perform routine hardware maintenance, including printer setup, computer diagnostics, and peripheral management.
- Log and track all support tickets in the internal ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist in the deployment of new devices, mobile devices, and software updates across the organization.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify trends in technical issues and suggest process improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a bridge between technical staff and non-technical users.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage, Motherboards).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer navigation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
