Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage ticket queues and prioritize support requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform basic server maintenance and backups under senior supervision.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software applications and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement new technology solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- No prior experience required, but internship or coursework in IT is a plus.
- Strong interest in computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac), and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach to technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
