Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new hires.
- Manage and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) connectivity, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Maintain and update the IT asset inventory and ensure all equipment is properly labeled and tracked.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system to improve service efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system bottlenecks and implement preventative maintenance solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent technical experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (10 & 11) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and networking concepts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (such as CompTIA A+) during employment.
