Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, printers, monitors) and software applications.
- Assist with the deployment of new workstations and peripherals during office setup.
- Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot basic network issues.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and supplies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for off-site support.
