Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist end-users with hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Install and configure operating systems and essential business applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement system upgrades and security patches.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 40 lbs) when necessary.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
