Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor network performance and address minor issues to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technologies and security protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and network concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and a customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) upon hire.
