Responsibilities
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- System Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop environments and peripherals.
- Help Desk Assistance: Provide Tier 1 support via phone and email, including password resets and account management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical configurations.
- Network Monitoring: Assist senior engineers in monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues.
- User Training: Educate employees on best practices for IT security and software usage.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows operating systems and general computer hardware components.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and think critically to find solutions.
- Soft Skills: High level of professionalism, patience, and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required.
