Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on workstations and peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software for new hires.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify trends and improve support processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Reliable internet access and a quiet workspace for remote support tasks.
