Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues for employees, ranging from printer malfunctions to operating system errors.
- IT Ticket Management: Efficiently log, track, and prioritize incoming support requests using our ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local workstations, servers, and peripheral devices.
- User Support: Provide friendly, professional technical assistance and training to staff members regarding software applications and company policies.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime and security for the Columbus office environment.
- Asset Management: Help maintain accurate inventory records of all IT equipment and software licenses.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR a high school diploma with equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Soft Skills: A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn new technologies, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Reliability: Ability to adhere to strict schedules and attend required on-site training sessions.
