Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues ranging from laptop crashes and printer malfunctions to network connectivity problems.
- User Support: Provide exceptional technical support to internal employees and clients via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage service tickets using our ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar) to ensure timely resolution.
- Network Administration: Help maintain and monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Asset Management: Assist in the inventory management of hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate tracking of company equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and web browsers. Familiarity with Active Directory or networking concepts is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-centric demeanor.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Availability: Must be able to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI.
