Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware/software issues via phone and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate knowledge base entries
- Collaborate with senior technicians on network troubleshooting and security protocols
- Assist in onboarding new employees with device setup and training
- Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades and maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field OR equivalent technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support)
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site support
