Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including desktops, laptops, and network devices
- Provide first-level user support via ticketing system, phone, and in-person assistance
- Manage active directory accounts, permissions, and security protocols
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network infrastructure projects
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues
- Assist with hardware/software lifecycle management and inventory control
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent technical certification
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS (10/11), Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site equipment maintenance
