Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity.
- Install, update, and patch operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement security protocols and data backup strategies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting technical difficulties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
