Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network components
- Document technical processes and create user documentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and security patches
- Participate in rotational training across IT domains (helpdesk, infrastructure, security)
- Assist with onboarding new employees and equipment setups
- Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues appropriately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic computer literacy and troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly through structured training
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification during training period
- Valid Ohio driver's license (for occasional client site visits)
