Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Technical Support: Provide efficient and friendly support for hardware and software issues via ticketing systems and direct contact.
- Account Management: Assist with user onboarding, laptop configuration, Active Directory management, and access control.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve local area network (LAN) connectivity issues and Wi-Fi problems.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and minor repairs on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Software Deployment: Assist in the installation, update, and patch management of operating systems and business applications.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs and software licensing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required; internships or academic projects are highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer hardware components.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of technical issues.
- Customer Service: A customer-first mindset with a professional and patient demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time employment with occasional flexibility for after-hours support.
