Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support for hardware/software issues across 200+ users
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux workstations and servers
- Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Document IT processes and maintain knowledge base articles
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols including endpoint protection
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Linux command-line operations
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment installation/maintenance
- Valid Louisiana driver's license for occasional off-site support
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) preferred
