Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Document all IT incidents, resolutions, and asset configurations in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex troubleshooting and system deployments
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols including access management and threat monitoring
- Train end-users on software applications and best practices
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades and maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Customer service mindset with patience and professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
