Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software systems including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Monitor network performance and security protocols using industry-standard tools
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate IT asset inventories
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and security patches
- Deliver user training on new software implementations and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and network fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service mindset
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for hardware installations
