Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and respond to incoming help desk tickets, prioritizing tasks to ensure minimal downtime for the organization.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain accurate inventory records and manage asset tagging.
- Learn and assist with network infrastructure tasks, including basic troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
- Conduct user training sessions to improve software literacy and security compliance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to the Columbus office.
