Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and network connectivity problems.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software applications.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical issues in the helpdesk database.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows and macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
