Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, passwords, and security permissions.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and workstations.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk knowledge base.
- Monitor system performance and alert the team to potential downtime.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (paid for by company).
