Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to internal staff regarding hardware and software issues.
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and software updates across the organization.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT security team to enforce compliance and data protection protocols.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
