The Role
As an Entry Level HR Coordinator, you will be the face of our HR department. You will support our HR Manager in executing day-to-day operations and ensuring our employees feel valued and supported.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, including job posting, resume screening, and scheduling interviews for Boston-based candidates.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork (I-9s, W-4s) is completed accurately and introducing new team members to company culture.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and payroll, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance with local laws.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and team-building events to boost company morale.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with state and federal labor laws and company policies, preparing monthly compliance reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Location: Must be willing to work in-person in Boston, Massachusetts.
