Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and system setup.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, including personnel records, leave requests, and performance reviews.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for open positions.
- Benefits Administration: Help employees with benefit inquiries, answer questions regarding health insurance and payroll, and assist with open enrollment periods.
- Compliance: Support the HR department in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- HRIS Management: Update and maintain our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with accurate employee data.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and HR workshops.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling sensitive employee data and documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
