What You Will Do:
- Process daily financial transactions with high accuracy (cash, checks, and cards).
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their banking experience.
- Learn to cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and loans.
- Maintain the security of the branch and ensure compliance with all banking regulations.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby and teller area to ensure a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with strict attention to detail.
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and balance the teller drawer.
- Participate in training sessions to master banking software and procedures.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding customer financial information.
- Collaborate with the branch team to achieve daily sales goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Basic math skills and the ability to count money quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
