Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time autonomous driving software systems using Python, C++, and ROS
- Develop sensor fusion algorithms integrating LiDAR, radar, camera, and GPS data
- Optimize machine learning models for object detection, path planning, and decision-making
- Conduct rigorous simulation testing and validation of autonomous systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, validation, UX) to ensure seamless integration
- Document technical specifications and contribute to open-source autonomous driving projects
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ethical AI frameworks for deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in autonomous systems, computer vision, or embedded software
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS with strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and sensor integration
- Familiarity with autonomous driving stacks (Autoware, Apollo, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile development environments
- Passion for ethical AI development and transportation innovation
- Valid US driver's license and clean driving record
