Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Design and execute innovation strategies targeting $100M+ market opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with data-driven risk/reward analyses
- Build and manage partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Oversee the development of proprietary IP portfolios in future technology domains
- Mentor a team of 15+ senior technologists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology verticals (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
