Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to bank compliance policies and internal controls.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by identifying their financial needs and recommending appropriate products.
- Handle cash handling duties with high precision, ensuring daily vault reconciliation and balancing.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining account features and benefits to clients.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and other banking software with high proficiency.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (banking bags) as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
