Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Strategic Vision: Lead the creation of a comprehensive 5-year technology roadmap, aligning emerging tech trends with business goals.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate breakthrough technologies (e.g., AI, Quantum, Web3, Advanced Robotics) to determine strategic fit.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research initiatives and pilot programs that test future-forward concepts before full-scale deployment.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate complex future scenarios to C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to secure buy-in for long-term initiatives.
- Innovation Ecosystem: Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to stay ahead of the curve.
- Resource Allocation: Direct budget and talent towards high-potential projects that offer the highest Return on Future Investment (ROFI).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a strategic role within the tech industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies (AI/ML, Cloud Architecture, Blockchain, etc.) with the ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of identifying market shifts and capitalizing on them.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex, forward-looking strategies to diverse audiences.
- Creativity: A demonstrated ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
