Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and maintain a comprehensive 5-year technical roadmap focused on 2026 objectives, including AI scalability and quantum integration.
- Pilot Program Management: Lead the design and execution of high-priority pilot programs to test emerging technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex future-state technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for C-suite executives and product teams.
- Technology Assessment: Conduct deep-dive research and analysis on emerging tech stacks to identify high-value opportunities for Vertex Horizon.
- Collaborative Engineering: Partner with R&D leads to architect systems that are future-proof, scalable, and compliant with global standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential future risks associated with rapid technological advancement and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in software architecture, strategic planning, or futurism.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and quantum computing principles.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying and leading disruptive technological trends.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at a senior level.
