Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to accelerate machine learning workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ devices using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Research emerging quantum materials and cryogenic control systems
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum technology symposia
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, OpenQASM)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic engineering
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of delivering production quantum systems with >99.9% fidelity
