What You Will Do:
As a Senior Architect on Project 2026, you will be responsible for designing scalable quantum systems and integrating them with classical AI workflows. You will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering.
Responsibilities
- System Design: Architect fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of scaling to thousands of qubits.
- Algorithm Development: Design and optimize quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning tasks.
- Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of quantum processors with classical cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing clusters.
- R&D Leadership: Mentor a team of junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous experimentation.
- Prototyping: Build and validate high-fidelity prototypes to prove out new quantum computing paradigms.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and white papers to share our findings with the global scientific community.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum information science, or advanced high-performance computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks.
- Architecture: Strong background in distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and systems engineering.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle abstract mathematical problems and translate them into robust software solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
