Job Description
Are you ready to define the future of computing?
Nexus Future Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Architect to lead our next-generation research division. As we accelerate toward the technological horizon of 2026, we are building the infrastructure that will power the world's most complex machine learning models using next-generation quantum hardware.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application, designing scalable systems that merge classical AI with quantum supremacy. If you are passionate about solving humanity's hardest computational problems, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems for large-scale machine learning models.
- Lead the technical strategy for integrating quantum processors with existing cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with research scientists to develop novel quantum algorithms optimized for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Mentor a team of brilliant engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define best practices for quantum software development, security, and error mitigation.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and optimization to ensure system reliability under extreme loads.
- Present architectural proposals and technical roadmaps to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent extensive industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, specifically within AI/ML or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
- Proven expertise in quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of classical machine learning algorithms (Neural Networks, Transformers) and how they translate to quantum circuits.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
